BTW, I share with u a simillar view. I've been working with images for 8 years but only in the last year I've started doing some authorial work and I've realized that what's the common factor in all of them is the attitude of discovering hidden gems in ordinary moments. Everyone can be a great hero, has a good story to tell or could be transformed into something wonderful just by a trained eye with a camera and an open heart equiped with an attentious ear and a sincere mouth.
